WELCOME

The 3rd international ZHITU Symposium will be held at the University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan on Aug. 20-22, 2023.  The purpose of the Symposium is to promote international collaborations in education, research, and exchange programs among the 5 universities in the areas of civil engineering. This Symposium will consist of keynote lectures, technical presentations, and panel discussion. Technical papers are sought in all areas related to smart materials and smart structures.

Conference Schedule

  • Aug 20, Sun, 2023: Plenary session (Opening, Keynotes), Parallel sessions, Casual networking dinner.
  • Aug 21, Mon, 2023: Plenary session (Keynotes, Panel discussion), Parallel session, Laboratory visit, Symposium buffet.
  • Aug 22, Tue, 2023:Technical and cultural tour.

Important Dates

  • June 20: Deadline for the list of participating members from each university
  • July 20: Deadline for the 2-page paper (maximum 3 pages)
  • Aug.10: Deadline for online registration
